Modbo 4 v7 USA PS2 Matrix clone install pictures...
I was bored one day and decided to install a modbo in my v7 ps2 that was gathering dust. You might think this was a pointless endeavor considering all the new hype in the ps2 scene these days with memento, and memory 64 plus... (And I do agree with you; kind of pointless to do this on a v7 when I can just use the independence exploit.)
Well enough said... I had the chip and the console only cost me $2.50 cents so I had nothing to lose.

The real reason I installed the chip is because I am interested in creating a BB-NAVI movie, and I think bb-nav only works on a JPN console or one with chip that has ATAD patching. If you know where I can find bb-nav please let me know. I did find one version that didn't boot over on sks apps. (But maybe I did something wrong)?
